Letter of Intention
A letter of intention is for people who are looking to start a consent order process but are unsure if their spouse will cooperate. We will send a letter directly to your spouse with details about our service, what you intend to offer and what will generally be required throughout the process.
This is particularly useful for those who are struggling to communicate or for spouses who simply want to hear the information directly from us. It is a great way to get the ball rolling and hopefully get a step closer to agreement to save you both thousands on solicitor fees.
What's included?
- Drafting of a letter of intention
- Sending the letter directly to your spouse via email or post
- Guidance with formulating your offer
What's not included?
- Negotiations
- Legal advice
This service only includes notifying your spouse about our service and your intention to amicably split your assets via a financial consent order. Although we can give you guidance as to how to formulate your offer so that it makes legal sense, we cannot negotiate a settlement on your behalf nor can we tell you what you should offer.
